Thanks for your comment!  &#039;Elaborate&#039; is an understatement with regards to the ancient Egyptian ceremonies, and this is why I&#039;m so intrigued by them.  If you take a quick read through the Book of the Dead, you&#039;ll find very specific actions, spells and incantations, which the initiate is required to perform, as they progress upwards through the various stages of death to become the resurrected Osiris.  Somehow I think we&#039;re missing out in our modern understanding of death and the preparation for the inevitable...</description>
