What do you first think of when you hear the word, ‘alchemy’? Is it turning lead into gold?
Egypt is considered the cradle of alchemy.
In ancient times the Arabic name for Egypt was Al-Kemia meaning ‘The Black Land’. The ancient alchemists of Egypt and Persia were the pioneers of chemistry as we know it today.
Their experiments allowed them to create stronger and lighter metals as well as the science of medicine.
After researching alchemy for my new book, Reading Between the Lines, The Hidden Power of Language, I learned there are two primary types of alchemy: personal and physical. The physical alchemy focuses on the transmutation of physical elements into other elements, and this does include changing lead to gold.
The personal alchemy however, is about the transmutation of the self from within.
What is transmutation?
Simply stated, transmutation is a change in form.
So how can we change ourselves from the inside out? The primary purpose of my book is to teach you how to do that based on my own personal experience of change.
If you use my methodology, you will create what I call the “Objective Observer”…
This entity is the part of you which isn’t controlled by your current emotional drivers. This transmutation of self, from the lead of reactive thinking to the gold of creative thinking, is the result of conducting your own personal alchemy.
What are you made of? And what can you be turned into?
You won’t know until you dive in and look deeply within yourself. The ancient alchemists were students of both science and spirit. They understood that this process takes time, and in fact there are better times of the year to perform personal alchemy as well as specific processes which take place.
When will you step onto the path?
