The Law of Attraction - Why it Doesn't Always Work - Part 2

Why Doesn’t the Law of Attraction Always Work???

In the first post in the series, we considered why the law of attraction doesn’t always work.

Now we consider some ways to kick start it into gear.

First, you can start by expressing thanks for what you do currently have and enjoy, as part of your physical universe.  This means starting every day with a few deep breaths, and thoughts focused on whatever you should be appreciative of in your life.

I’m sure you’ll find more than you expect when you stop and set aside time for thankful reflection.  Next, you’ll need to focus on creating the belief in yourself and your ability to transmit your hopes and dreams into opportunities.

Opportunities will begin to show up in the physical plane of your experience.  You will experience serendipities which would otherwise be unexplainable.  The hard part for most of us is stepping outside our everyday, reactive selves.

Your Objective Observer must be created, nurtured and then fixed into place.

This is a lifelong journey, not a weekend trip. It is a process that requires the shedding of numerous layers of emotional neural sub-nets, created by years of habitual thinking and speaking.

It requires the purging of demons with well-honed personalities, and the dissection and rejection of the negative thought patterns you’ve accumulated during your lifetime.

Shedding, purging and rejection provides for renewed growth as we saw in the first meditation practicum.

Gnosis – The Rules of the Game

The state we are attempting to achieve is a unified awareness of self.  You must become aware of your personal relationship with your everyday, physical reality.

Next you must learn how the world of spirit intersects with your consciousness.  Once these two steps have been mastered, you will become a renewed being.

Welcome to the state of gnosis (enlightened knowledge) which has been hidden from you your entire life.  It comes as a priceless gift for some and a potentially terrifying nightmare for others.

No matter what your reaction to this powerful knowledge might be, I can assure you that the game changes once you know how to play by the rules.

You will never win everything you attempt to achieve in your lifetime.  The experience of failure is often required in order to forge a better ultimate outcome.

Sometimes you are not yet ready for what you think you deserve; other times, the Cosmic Soup isn’t prepared to provide that which you desire.

You may still have lessons to learn in your current state.  But as long as you are dedicated to changing and improving your thoughts and your words, you are evolving and you are growing.

  • Well if the laws are created to make wealth for one over the other why would they work?

    • Hi Beth,

Thanks for taking the tiime to respond!

The concept of this law, as I understand it, states it’s not one OR the other…the law will respond to an individual’s intentions and this is not based on one person winning over another.

In my book I have a chapter titled “You Can’t Win Them All” in which I offer a more elaborate answer to your question, but essentially one person does not have to lose for another to prosper.
