Excerpt from Reading Between The Lines, The Hidden Power of Language…
You Reap What You Sow
“In today’s world, we pay the rent, show up to work on time and get paid to do what we do well. Hopefully, this hard work provides us the ability to have a family, house and the retirement we expect.
This belief in cyclical experience does not prepare us for any unexpected outcomes that come into our lives. These unexpected outcomes are caused by the chaotic forces which continuously surround us.
We will examine this theory in more detail later, but Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle always comes into play.
It postulates that sub-atomic particles (an electron is an example of a particle) do not occupy specific positions in time or space.
They actually exist as potential positions, and it is only when we measure (observe) them that they then behave as we would expect and take a particular position.
This happens at a level of reality most of us can’t even contemplate, let alone manipulate.
But it does exist and is a very bizarre concept to put into words. Modern scientists and physicists relish the mathematical exploration and explanation of such questions, but we want to know how this applies to us as individuals living in the world.
The answer is, you have an impact on your experience of the world based on your expectations of that experience.
What do you expect to experience in any given situation?”
This could be the most profound thing you read today…what do you ‘expect’ to happen next?
