Because my network is aware of the Reading Between the Lines literary project, I’m now getting the inquiry quite often, “So, how’s the book coming along?”
My standard reply is, “You should be asking how it’s going trying to live my life as suggested in the books?
Living the lessons offered is an entirely different matter! Having lived the bulk of my adult life as a very cynical, angry and frustrated person, it is a fundamental change to live life from a ‘happy’ and ‘positive’ perspective.
But it is getting easier!
And more importantly, the internal mental links to anger and frustration are being accessed less and less, so they are slowly losing their control of my emotional reactions. Read my post on why we’re “Addicted to Stress” to learn more about the peptide/receptor relationship.
What I’ve learned and experienced, through this process of personality redevelopment and internal spiritual surgery, has proven to me just how valuable our time on this planet actually is. Read this post about just how special you are…
Don’t waste your time with meaningless thoughts and words. Focus your intention. Be mindful of the effects resulting from this growing self-awareness. Although, just being aware is not enough. You have to be come both “aware” and “in control” to move to the next level of acceptance.
In recent weeks at my real job, we’ve been encountering a slowing market, which in turn puts pressure on the company to achieve budget. Some of this pressure is external, but it is MY perception of the pressure that is the important key here.
I’m allowing myself to be pressured, not the other way around.
It is the realization that YOU actually are in control of your feeeling, emotions and perceptions, which will release you from external stress and pressure.
My neural-net is now slowly aligning toward more positive thoughts and words, while then slowly dissolve those aspects of myself which no longer serve me.
The book is going really well, so thanks for asking…In fact the manuscript was finished yesterday!
My daily life can still be a challenge, but the changes taking place within my consciousness are making me a better person, so it’s worth the effort…
